Mario is a nurse from Croatia, who has been living and working in Saudi Arabia since September. You can read his impressions in our mini interview.
Why did you decide to work in Saudi Arabia?
I´ve been thiniking about it for a long time and when I got an offer from Go Global Carea agency, which was very interesting, I decided on this adventure. Today I can say it was a good decision, this country offers many different options.
What was the interview like?
The conversation was surprisingly relaxed and communication was not a problem at all, although I was honestly a little skeptical about my level of English.
How would you compare your departments in Croatia and Saudi Arabia?
I can’t compare because it’s incomparable. The organization of work is completely different and much better for me personally.
Where are your colleagues from and how do you get along?
I have colleagues from all over the world and we get along very well, they are all very professional and tolerant. We understand each other because we all come from a different environment and adapt to each other.
How do you spend your free time?
I spend it mostly with friends, whom I met a lot here .. Swimming pool, gym, trips to the desert and various events, of which there are many in a metropolis like Riyadh.
What do you like most about working and living in Saudi Arabia?
The ratio of work and salary for the above is more than satisfactory. You will gain new experiences, learn a language and definitely expand your horizons.
Where and with whom do you live in Riyadh?
The great thing is that King Faisal Hospital gives enough money for renting an apartment, if the employee wants to. I met the best roommate I have ever had and we have been renting an apartment near the hospital for several months and we are very satisfied.
Mario, thank you very much for your time, we wish you a good luck!
