Due to rapid development over recent decades, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have become a much-sought-after location, not only among tourists. Every lover of luxury, fantastic structures, sunny beaches, hot weather, warm sea and the undersea world will be enchanted. Local citizens form only less than 30 % of the population, with the rest being foreigners from all over the world, mostly having arrived in search of interesting job offers. The unemployment rate in UAE is among the lowest in the world, approx. 2.5 %.

A great part of the healthcare is provided for by private health facilities; e.g. typical of Dubai are private hospitals with approximately up to 150 beds.
